Products for multiple energy sources

Custom-made, fully insulated OEM products with sensor pockets and heating coil connections in the side of the cylinder, makes these units the perfect companion for multiple energy sources. The OEM Twin Coil units are purpose-designed for combining low- and high temperature energy sources for domestic hot water (DHW) production. The lower heating coil can be utilized by for example solar collectors up to 8m², or inverter controlled heat pumps up 10kW, while the upper heating coil is perfect for gas boilers up to 25kW.

 

The OEM Twin Coil units are extremely versatile and multiple configurations are possible, depending on available energy sources. Recommended use is with a low temperature energy source such as solar collectors or heat pumps in the lower heating coil, in combination with a high temperature energy source such as gas boiler in the upper heating coil. Examples for the lower heating coil are solar collectors up to 8m² or inverter controlled heat pumps up to 10kW. Both of the above is perfect in combination with gas boiler up to 25kW in the upper heating coil. The electric heater can be used as back up when upper heating coil is not in use. Separate ½” sensor pocket for precise control from the energy source is factory fitted. Low heat loss is provided by ECO Foam, with impressive key figures for GWP of 1 (Global Warming Potential) and ODP of 1 (Ozone Depletion Potential.)
